Each platform references a chronological moment of lived experience, from childhood, through to older age.

These sculptures become the material “stages” for successional chapters of potential female experience: childhood, motherhood, sexuality, interiority, loss.

30 is both the number of proposed performers, enacting their “weather”, but also the number of the circle symoblising infinity and absolute completion; it is the embodiment of the time cycle. (a reference to the clock, and again to the linkages between the line and the circle).

Blizzards is both a metaphorical reference to the inherent barometer of human emotion and interaction as a meteorological condition, but also a beautiful onomatopoeic word that speaks to performative frenzy.
